José Carlos Román García nació en Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). Tras diplomarse en Magisterio y Licenciarse posteriormente en Pedagogía, desde hace más de 20 años se dedica en cuerpo y alma a su gran pasión: Maestro de Educación Infantil. Desarrollando esta labor profesional, fue adentrándose poco a poco en el maravilloso mundo de la literatura infantil. Lector incansable de LIJ y en continua búsqueda de títulos significativos que llevar al aula para deleitar a los más pequeños, poco a poco se fue despertando en él su interés por escribir historias para niños y en 2016 comienza su andadura en el mundo editorial con la publicación de su primer álbum ilustrado.
